Large vintage Amethyst & Diamond cocktail ring made out of 18ct white Gold. This is a bold and dramatic statement ring which is not for the faint hearted! The oval deep purple Amethyst is approximately 23mm x 16mm and is held together via a prong setting. The petals surrounding the center stone make up 22 bright brilliant cut Diamonds. These are approximately 0.01ct each, totaling 0.22ct. The width of the band is 2mm. It is English hallmarked indicating it to be 18ct Gold and dated 1970.
