This beautiful vintage necklace features a swallow motif, set with seed Pearls, surrounded by a roundel of Turquoise stones. This motif, and the stones were very popular in the late 19th century. This piece was originally a brooch and has been converted to a necklace to make it more wearable today. All the stones are round cut with the Turquoise held together via a bezel setting. A unique piece from the 1930's. The diameter of the pendant is 18mm. It is attached to an 18" yellow Gold belcher chain with a spring ring clasp.
