The telemeter and tachymeter display were first combined in a single Junghans chronograph in 1951. This legacy is now being perpetuated with the Meister Telemeter, a new retro release of the classic chronograph. An extremely beautiful watch, the Meister Telemeter is as elegant as it is technical and sporty, and just as relevant today as it was upon its original release nearly 70 years ago.
Embraced within the stainless steel case of this Junghans Meister Telemeter watch is the remarkable J800.3 self winding movement which provides classic hour and minute hands, a central chronograph seconds hand and two subsidiary dials for standard seconds and 30 minute counter. The movement also amazes with a power reserve of 42 hours and its presentation through the exhibition glass case back. Each of the functions that come from the German automatic watch movement are displayed beautifully on a matte silver plated dial decorated with a telemeter and tachymeter scale, luminous coated hands and numerals and the Junghans logo at 12 o clock. This Junghans Meister Telemeter watch continues to amaze with a 30 metre water resistant and 40.8mm stainless steel case, convex hard Plexiglas coated for enhanced scratch resistance and a luxurious black leather strap with pin buckle.
